The MCP6S21-I/P is a single-channel single-ended Programmable Gain Amplifier programmable over an SPI bus and thus add gain control and input channel selection to the embedded control system. It offers eight steps of gain. This is all achieved in one simple integration that allows for considerably greater bandwidth at a low supply current. The serial interface can also put the PGA into shutdown to conserve power. This PGA is optimized for high speed, low offset voltage and single-supply operation with rail-to-rail input and output capability. This specifications support single supply applications needing flexible performance or multiple inputs.
