The DAC8581IPW is a 16-bit high-speed low-noise Digital-to-analog Converter (DAC) operating from dual ±5V power supplies. The DAC8581 is monotonic and has exceptionally low noise and exceptionally low glitch. The DAC8581 high-performance, bipolar output buffer is capable of settling within 0.65µs for a 10V step. Small-signal settling time is well under 0.3µs, supporting data update rates up to 3MSPS. A power-on-reset circuit sets the output at midscale voltage on power up. The DAC8581 is simple to use with a single external reference and a standard 3-wire SPI interface that allows clock rates up to 50MHz.
● Very low glitch - 0.5nV-s
● Fast settling - 0.65µs
● Fast slew rate - 35V/µs
● Single external reference
● Power-on reset to mid-scale
● Twos complement data format
● Hardware reset to mid-scale
● Green product and no Sb/Br
