TEA1721ADB1062,598 demo board is designed as an isolated 24V, 5V and 3.3V AC/DC SMPS for supplying up to 5W to a load. On the input side, single phase, 2 phase or 3 phase universal mains power can be connected. The switch mode converter operates in flyback mode at a maximum frequency of around 50KHz. Overcurrent and short circuit protection are built in. The power consumption is below 50mW under no load conditions. EMI filtering and surge protection using TVS diodes is implemented in this circuit. The TEA1721 is a small and low cost module Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) controller IC for low power applications (up to 5W) and operates directly from the rectified universal mains input.

●The demo board is powered by AC mains voltage. Avoid touching the board when power is applied. An isolated housing is obligatory when used in uncontrolled, non laboratory environments.
