TBU-LAB2 - Bidirectional TBU® Port Solution Design Kit
●Bourns® Bidirectional TBU® Port Solution TBU-LAB2 Design kit containing high-speed devices that provide protection against transients caused by short circuits, AC power cross, induction and lightning surges.
●The Transient Blocking Unit (TBU) blocks surges providing a barrier to sensitive electronics and eliminating exposure to large voltages or currents during surge events. Consequently the let-through energy to sensitive load electronics is low and prevents damage within rated limits. The TBU device resets to its normal state after the surge subsides.
●Extremely high-speed performance (GHz data rate compatible)
●Blocks high voltages and transient currents
●Very high bandwidth
●Small size requires Minimal PCB area
●Exceeds ITU-T K.20, K.21, K.45 & Telcordia GR-1089 requirements
●Applications include: xDSL linecards; POTS and xDSL combo linecards; Access network equipment; T1/E1 and T3/E3 equipment; Ethernet port protection; Broadband modems and gateways; Industrial controls and sensors; Test and instrumentation equipment
