The PCM2704CDB is a 98dB SNR stereo full speed Digital to Analogue Converter with line-out and S/PDIF output bus/self-powered. The USB-protocol controller works with no software code, but USB descriptors can be modified in some areas through the use of an external ROM or serial peripheral interface (SPI). The PCM270xC also employ SpAct architecture, its unique system that recovers the audio clock from USB packet data. On-chip analogue phase-locked loops (PLLs) with SpAct enable playback with low clock jitter.
● On-chip USB interface
● Partially programmable descriptors
● Adaptive isochronous transfer for playback
● On-chip clock generator with single 12MHz clock source
● Single-ended voltage output
● Green product and no Sb/Br
●This device has limited built-in ESD protection, leads should be shorted together or the device placed in conductive foam during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to the MOS gates.
