The LTM4606EV#PBF is a high voltage switching mode DC/DC power supply DC/DC µModule Regulator with switching controller, power FETs, inductor and all support components. The on-board input filter and noise cancellation circuits achieve low noise operation, thus effectively reducing the electromagnetic interference. Operating over an input voltage range of 4.5 to 28V, this supports an output voltage range of 0.6 to 5V, set by a single resistor. This high efficiency design delivers 6A continuous current. Only bulk input and output capacitors are needed to finish the design. High switching frequency and an adaptive on-time current mode architecture enables very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability. The device supports output voltage tracking and output voltage margining. Furthermore the µModule® regulator can be synchronized with an external clock for reducing undesirable frequency harmonics and allows PolyPhase® operation for high load currents.
