The KA7812ETU is a 3-terminal Positive Regulator with several fixed-output voltages, making it useful in a wide range of applications. This type employs internal current limiting, thermal shut-down and safe operating area. If adequate heat sinking is provided, it can deliver over 1A output current. Although designed primarily as fixed-voltage regulator, this device can be used with external components for adjustable voltages and currents.
