The PAN1720-TI is a complete Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy solution. This module includes an embedded processor, antenna and Bluetooth Low Energy stack from Texas Instruments. The PAN1720 is a cost effective, low power, true system onchip (SoC) for Bluetooth Low Energy application. This is a single device for both Bluetooth Low Energy master or slave nodes. PAN1720 combines an excellent RF transceiver with a high performance low power 8051 microcontroller, programmable flash memory, 8KB RAM and many other powerful supporting features for peripherals. This Bluetooth module is an ideal choice where users prefer for higher battery life. Short transition times between operating modes and power efficient hardware further reduces current consumption.
