The BQ27510EVM evaluation module is a complete evaluation system for the bq27510. The BQ27510 system side Li Ion battery fuel gauge is a microcontroller peripheral that provides fuel gauging for single cell Li Ion battery packs. The device requires little system microcontroller firmware development. The bq27510 resides on the system"s main board and manages an embedded battery (non removable) or a removable battery pack. The circuit module includes one bq27510 integrated circuit and all other on board components necessary to monitor and predict capacity for a system side fuel gauge solution. The circuit module connects directly across the battery pack. With the EV2300 interface board and software, the user can read the bq27510 data registers, program the chipset for different pack configurations, log cycling data for further evaluation, and evaluate the overall functionality of the bq27510 solution under different charge and discharge conditions.
